SRPD participates in international day of persons with disabilities celebration

SRPD participated in the recognition ceremony marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, held today morning at the cultural center hall in Sana’a.

The event was organized under the supervision of the ministry of social affairs and labor, in collaboration with Handicap International, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and SRPD.

The ceremony featured inspiring success stories of people with disabilities, along with remarkable talent showcases presented by participants, including those involved in the sustainable livelihoods project for persons with disabilities and their families. Additionally, several associations and individuals working in the field of disability and inclusion were honored in recognition of their efforts.

SRPD was recognized during the event for its contributions to supporting and empowering persons with disabilities, as well as its prominent role in implementing the “Sustainable Livelihoods for Persons with Disabilities and Their Families in the Amanat Al-Asima ” project. Persons with disabilities who participated in the project were also honored.

SRPD’s participation reaffirms its ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering persons with disabilities and enhancing their active role in society.
