As part of the activities of the “Sustainable Livelihoods and Integrated Services for Persons with Disabilities and their Families” project, SRPD and Handicap (HI) conducted a joint field visit to Al-Ola Training and Rehabilitation Center. The visit aimed to follow up on the implementation of the vocational training programs for persons with disabilities, assess the quality of the training, and review the level of participation and engagement of beneficiaries in activities that contribute to enhancing their economic opportunities and improving their livelihoods.
The country director and the projects manager of HI participated in the visit, during which they reviewed the progress of the training programs and the extent to which participants are benefiting from the activities. Discussions also focused on ways to strengthen collaboration to ensure the achievement of the project’s objectives in economic and social empowerment for persons with disabilities.
The country director of HI praised the efforts of SRPD for the effective implementation of the project, reaffirming the commitment to continued cooperation in achieving sustainable empowerment and inclusion.
